Does DM Donation collect or store blood?
No. DM Donation only connects donors with patients — donation itself always happens at a licensed hospital or blood bank, which handles screening, collection, and storage.
How do I know if my blood type is compatible with a request?
See the blood type compatibility guide for a full donor/recipient breakdown, or check a specific type's page — for example O- is the universal donor and AB+ is the universal recipient.
How often can I donate blood?
Whole blood donors generally need to wait at least 8 weeks (56 days) between donations. Platelet and plasma donation intervals differ — see the donation guide in the app for the full breakdown by donation type.
